Uganda reinstated its COC program on December 3, 2012. All controlled products must undergo pre-shipment inspection to ensure compliance with Ugandan technical regulations. Non-compliant goods may be denied entry or incur penalties.

Uganda COC Application Process:
Required Documents:
1. Third-party test report (ISO 17025 accredited lab)
2. Packing List
3. Proforma Invoice
4. Product labeling and packaging photos
5. Application Form
Steps:
1. Submit Proforma Invoice and RFC form (4+ working days prior to shipment).
2. Provide technical documents (test reports, specifications, etc.).
3. Define compliance standards and implementation plan.
4. Sample testing (if required).
5. Pre-shipment inspection (non-intrusive).
6. Submit final Commercial Invoice (with HS Code), Packing List, and product photos.
7. COC issued within 6–12 working days post-inspection.
