Angola mandates a CNCA Loading Certificate for all imported cargo. The CNCA number must appear on the B/L. Late applications post-arrival incur heavy fines and risk rejection.

Angola CNCA Application Process

Required Documents:

1. CNCA Application Form

2. Draft Bill of Lading (B/L Copy)

3. Commercial Invoice

4. Freight Invoice

5. DU Document

Key Notes:

• The CNCA must be processed before the carrier issues the original B/L.

• The original CNCA (in duplicate) will be couriered to the applicant for submission to the consignee and carrier.

• Effective February 10, 2015: A DU number is mandatory unless the FOB value is below USD 5,000. For shipments under USD 5,000, use DU No. 201500000000005000.
